This is an outstanding game made even better though co-op play. I have played all of the recent entries into this genre, including D&D Heroes and Champions of Norath, and have found Baldur's Gate to be a head above the rest. Weapon and item customization is great, allowing you to find a favorite weapon and customize it over and over again. The levels, although somewhat straight forward, offer quite a bit of variety and excellent monsters. The story is solid, feeding off of the leftovers of the previous game. Controls are as good as any I have experienced on the other games. Overall, a very good game and one worth playing with a friend.
