After waiting 5 years for Daikatana the world rushed out to play it. This game appears to be like Doom, only coming out almost 10 years later. The game was the puppy of John Romero and after this game Daikatana has be come one of the jokes of the industry.
The AI in this game is completely with out Intellegence. The graphics of the game truely does look like its from doom, and the difficulty of this game was so high many people didn't play past the first stage.
There was save crystals instead of saving when you want and the amount of enemies were so great that it was almost a total bore to kill them.
After this game John Romero hid in shame and has yet to reappear though Ion Storm the company to produce this one has come up with such games as Deus Ex to bring it back into the good graces.
