Ahh Halo, one of the most praised and talked about games of all time. However the question comes to mind if it really deserved it, and in my opinion no it didn't.
The game has improved upon nothing in console FPS's, it has even downgraded in some respects. It does not have bots in multi-player, there are no differences in who you play as in multi-player other then a color change, the game becomes extremely repetitive in the later levels, and the story is nothing amazing, its really just above average.
I will admit though, the game is fun, but how many of us gamers have played a fun game? I'll leave you that question to answer yourself. The graphics while are good for the time they released, but they were not amazing. The framerate drops and slowdown was annoying, the fact that you can only carry 2 weapons is just plain stupid. There is no strategy involed no matter how blind xbox fanboys try to say when you pick a weapon. The weapons always have differences in any game, and you always have choice in what weapons you can use in other FPS's, it's just that they don't force you like idiots to choose.
All in all, I find this game incredibly overrated, possibly the most overrated game in history. Hopefully Bungie can be a bit more innovative, and add some stuff that is expected to be in a great FPS, not a above-average one because thats all this game is. Nothing more, nothing less.
