The long awaited sequel to WWE's Smackdown Series has finally arrived to the Playstation 2. Just in the for the holiday season. I must say this game is the best wrestling game up to date. THQ decided to take a new turn into the game by adding new stuff for example the new grappling system which lets you grapple first and decide what combination your going to perform on your opponent. Second is they finally added blood in this game, after the last 2-3 years they finally listened to us and brought blood back. Third are the new matches like the Elimination Chamber and the infamous Bra and Panty match. Finally they added some of the greats of our sport into this game like the Legion of Doom, Superfly Jimmy Snuka, Ted Dibiase, George Steele, ect. The season mode is one of the reasons to play this game because their are endless of storylines in the game which will take you from the bottom of the ladder to the top of the WWE. The only thing that lacks in this game are the rosters some of the superstars were not added in this game APA, Billy Gunn, Molly Holly, ect. I think this game overall is an outstanding game if your a diehard wrestling fan. If I were to rent or buy I recommend you buy this game. It will keep you busy for quite some time.
