Ubisoft has once again managed to keep the Splinter Cell tradition alive with Splinter Cell 3 Chaos Theory. However, SC 3 seems very similar to its predecessors SC 1 & 2. Essentially, there is little difference in the three games. Perhaps this is why the game is so great because SC is one of those games that has a huge fan base.
Nonetheless, if you played and cleared SC 1 & 2 then 3 won't be too difficult for you. The game starts off without any training mode (well it did for me) so you're left to figure out how to use Sam all over again which can be a little annoying. A new assignment you will often come across is hacking keypads and computers. I dunno about you guys but I don't remember being instructed anywhere during the game on how to perform this task. In fact at one level every time I try to hack the computer I keep setting off some security alert.
Also, is it me or are the enemies exceptionally stupid in this one.
The plot is great but honestly, I skip across most of the useless instructions since Lambert will often radio you during game play anyways. In fact, I don't even bother with the little movies that play ahead of the game.
Despite, all this the game is still great….because after all it is Splinter Cell and you are the man Sam Fisher himself.
