You begin as Nick Kang, punk undercover cop who can't get along with anyone. As the story ensues, you are hired because you are the only one with the balls to control the gang problem.
This game is similiar to the familiar Grand Theft Auto, similiar theme, similar graphics (a little bit better) and similar gameplay.
First, this game is not for the younger audience. There is all kinds of blood, swears, and adult themes. Not to say that makes the game good or bad, just not for the faint of heart.
If you do like that stuff, I think you'll like the game. The storyline (albeit similar to GTA) is rich and exciting.
You have a main mission where you need to go to a certain place, and you can do side missions as they appear. Example: You are meeting someone at the bar as your primary objective, but as your driving there will be another car leaving a burglary you can pursue if you wish.
The gameplay is good. The car is fun to drive, the shooting is easy to learn and difficult to master, and everything runs relativly smooth.
Like I said before the storyline is rich. They do a good job developing the characters and building something you'll enjoy playing.
In conclusion, if you like GTA and aren't a fanboy, you'll like True Crime. If you didn't like GTA, you won't like this one.
