Let me start by saying that I am a drummer, and felt obligated to purchase this game the first time I had an opportunity.
That being said, THIS GAME IS FUN! I bought it 3 days ago and have put at least 10 hours into it. My wife love it as well, and every freind that's tried it has been addicted as well.
Here's how it goes: You get a set of bongos with the game, and during 33 songs you have to either hit left, hit right, hit both, or clap when it tells you to. You can set it to monkey, chimp, or gorilla (easy, medium, hard respecivly) and YOU WILL BE challenged.
The clapping does get annying, but we've found tapping the side of the drum has the same effect. (And makes the game more fun)
The challenge, variety of songs, and setup of where to hit on each of the three modes make it a very fun rhythm game. YOU WILL be addicted.
But this game also comes with a fair share of flaws. Some of the flaws include the following:
1. The graphics are not that great. Not that you need it... One thing that disappointed me is the intro was done in 'powerpoint' format, with pictures scrolling up and down on the screen. An obvious shortcut.
2. IF you did well on a song and want to see if you made the high score, you have to sort through 4 menus to get there. Why not put the high score in the corner while your playing, or at least after a songs completed tell us if we got it. And there is no names on the high score, just generalized points.
3. I'd imagine the multiplayer is fun, but I'm not paying $30 per bongo.
