The Legend of Zelda : Wind Waker
Well, after playing twice i can surely say it is the best videogame i have ever seen...
First thing is that :
I had Ocarina of Time as the best game till playing Wind Waker. Now for the first time it feels poor(even the master quest which I play it now)...
I find the idea of the plot incridible. The thought that Hyrule was vanished and that you are in a vast sea On top of Hyrule. The freedom you have. The REALLY VAST PLACE TO EXPLORE (49 BIG squares of sea)
Also it has one of the best endings....
Hyrule is forever a past. Now "Live the future" in your land, not in the shadows of your past relatives.
Also it's THE END of Zelda as Ocarina is THE START....
The Dungeons are cleverly made....using anything you carry....with perfect architecture and though some people say they are lesser than Ocarina...I guess they forgot something...The 8 triforce Shard Quest, which is like 2 Dungeons as first finding the maps and then finding the Shards.
Also not many take as Dungeon Forsaken Fortress...why? It was split into 2 pieces. The first into stelth tacting(clever idea and never used before in Zelda) and the second one after getting the Master Sword where you have to fight more...but also using the previous knowledge...
The game is full of feelings. From the video where Laruto "talks" to Medli (sad, mysterious, epic) to the Tetra rescue at the start...and from Beating the big(wonderful creating) mosters to the end battle with Ganondorf (he with 2 swords and you co-operative with zelda)
Also the idea that Tetra is Zelda....Zelda is a Pirate with many more skills at fighting. She is not the little hero not capable of pretecting herself...
The end battle is superb in idea....because of the water getting down..."drowing" the old Huryle". And that Ganondorf has finally managed to do what he wanted so many years....(thankfully The king got to the triforce first) And that you also see Ganon with a different eye. You feel him and understand why he has done all this. Not just pure evil....but something deeper...
Lastly, In the whole game the hero(?) has to SHOW that he has the courage to be the hero...and also by playing it second time and not putting on the link's uniform you can feel that it's really like The hero of winds always being under the myth of Hero of Time. He HAD to prove himself. No one had told of him in profecies. In the whole game he tries to past the Huge shadow of Hero of Time that is above him and be something apart of it.
