Just want to say KUDOS to the Stardock team. This is a great game. I have been playing SW Empire at War. I started reading the reviews and picked up GC2. It will be a long time before I play SW Empire at War again.
The game play is 4x at its best up there with Civ. and the like. The graphics, animations, and ship design are 1st class. This is a great acheivement for a independent. All of us who enjoy PC stratgy games have hope for the future.
The gameplay is addictive. The management system is streamlined and quick to pick up. The zoom works great with the new 3D graphics. AI is intuitive and will challange you at higher levels and with Stardocks support should only get better. I have only played on the conquest mode, but will check back in with the campaign later.
