When I saw this game at the shelf I knew I had to buy it. First thing that you are gonna be amazed with this game is the graphics. Its so amazing. The world is so detailed that it stands up pretty well against the prerendered backgrounds of the past FF games.
Next is the combat which very strategic. Even though its turn-based, not paying attention on the sequence of actions can lead to a gameover. The strategy a depth it can give can be very engaging. But i kanda like the ATB system better and the sphere grid system can go out of hand that battles tend to be too easy.
And lastly is the story. It has more or less the same plot twists and surprises compared to a soap opera. The story is pretty much the same to FFVIII except that someone died.
Over all, FFX is great and engaging RPG for the casual to the Hard core. The gameplay is solid but maybe too conservative or easy for some. FFX deserves the Final Fantasy name.
