Ok before i tell you about this game, i first ask you to consider the reputation of this game. People praise it, worship it, and cant stop talking about this game (people that own it that is). Do you think that they would talk so good about a game that sucks? No way.
I. The Story
The story for this game is kinda complex but you get the hang of it after about 4 or so hours on this game. The primary character is Cloud Strife (for those of you who have played Kingdom Hearts, he is the blonde guy with the huge sword that you fight in the Collesium). Cloud is a former member of the powerful group called SOLDIER. he was fist class, so in other words, he's a hell of a fighter. He quits SOLDIER and joins with a smaller group called AVALANCHE. The group has hardly any people in it. Sephiroth is the strongest SOLDIER of all, but he supposedly died years ago. but after a huge killing spree at the Shinra HQ, witnesses claim to have seen Sephiroth alive, and he is trying to destroy the planet, so it is up to AVALANCHE to stop him. The story is awesome and has many twists in it.

II. Graphics
The graphics on this game are above average for PS1. there are cut scenes that have rather impressive 3D graphics.

III. Fighting
Our friends at Sqaure introduce a new system of fighting in FF7. It is turn-based, kinda. while your in battle you have a time meter. You cannot attack until your time meter charges all the way. If you leave the system during a fight, be sure to pause the game with start. Enemies will keep attacking you and you will return only to find a big fat "GAME OVER" on your screen. It is my favorite type of fighting. I love fast paced fighting games and it is one that will blow any gamer away.

Overall this game rules! It is, in my opinion, the best ever made. The fighting just can't get any better, and the story had me hooked to the end. Buy this game, you won't regret it!!!
