Having fully played the prior three Arc the Lad games I had certain expectations coming into this game. Unfortunately my only expectation that was met is that this is indeed a mediocre strategy RPG. What happened to the original Arc team I don't...

I think this game falls under one of the more under-appreciated and overlooked rpgs on the ps2. The game can be said to be more modest compared to the big shot rpgs but I strongly believe that this is where it excels.
It's one of...

Once again we delve into the land of RPGs where everything is set in a medival time period, and we're all looking for Spirit Stones (who isn't?) and such. Concepts in this game were are way overused, and so the story didn't grab me very well at...

I don't think I've ever wanted a game to succeed as much as Arc The Lad:TOS. It looked good on paper, it was an unknown RPG... it just seemed like such an underdog. Well, this isn't a sports movie; this is real life, and the underdog normally...

Generally, RPGs are getting more and more boring because interactive play is lessened because of boring battle setups. There is nothing worse than long hours of boring battle scenes where pressing X to implement the battle strategy is all that is...

This game's battle system is very confusing and does not impress me one bit.Other game's have relitively easy battle systems but this one is tooo stratigic.I think this game could have given the main character a better looking sword. But on the plus...

Just got through finishing this game, and it was good but I wouldn't call it great. The game play was a straight-forward turn-base system, but with added mobility on the battle field, which was cool. The soundtrack is excellent to where I wish I...

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference." - Robert Frost
Many people have heard the above line from the Robert Frost poem "The Road Not Taken" which extols the virtues...

Arc the lad is a very nice RPG. It's very good, just not great compared to the mammoth RPGs like Xenosaga, Suikoden 3, and Final Fantasy X. Arc the lad really isn't on the high end of the RPG list for PS2, but it isn't bad at all either. ...

This game was a great surprise. I didnt think it would be that good but once i played it my thoughts changed.
The graphics of this game are very good. The only complaint I have is that Darc(when he doesnt have his armor) looks gay. ...

ATL:TOS is, at times, a very good RPG. Unfortunately, ATL does feel like the generic equivalent of the Final Fantasy series, but it has enough creativity and character development to keep things interesting.
The story in ATL is...

Arc The Lad: Twilight of the Spirits definately took me by surprise. Out of nowhere comes this great game. Despite what other reviewers are saying, Arc The Lad delivers a unique gaming experience with great character and depth. When I saw...

Man, where to begin.
Here's a little personal story about the game first:
I bought ATL the day it came out with my girlfriend (who hardly ever plays video games). Well, since I was going back to her house and her brother had a PS2, I...
