Rayman 2 is a nice sequel introducing the Rayman-world in 3D environment. On PS2 the competition is harder so the game is easily forgotten - and of course I couldn't give the same rating for it - because there is lot better games of this genre on PS2. This game is still an excellent choice for those who are looking quality action/adventures on PC. Actually, since the "console revolution" most of the developerts don't even release their games on PC anymore so - besides Tomb Raider - this is pretty much only thing you have!
Rayman is one of those characters that are really original but don't have the respect and fame they deserve. This funny fellow is actually quite interesting case. The game is nothing spectacular but this time it does't need to be. The game is very entertaining offering some "sweet" action and lot of puzzle solving. I guess you could say that Rayman is Tomb Raider in cartoony world. Rayman doesn't enter any tombs but the puzzles are very similar. The puzzles are lot easier than in "Laragames" mainly because the primary target audience is from 6-11. The game itself isn't too hard but is enough long and entertaining to be more than weekend fun.
The graphics are actually quite nice and the well detailed levels keeps the interest up. There is nothing to complain about but nothing worth big praising either. Nice game that will please the audience.
