Sequels for good games are always hard to make because people expect so much and the developers are afraid the fans aren't pleased if they change the game too much or don't give them enough new stuff.  Don't worry, This Spy In H.A.R.M's Way is as good as she could be!

The original game is better but that doesn't mean this wouldn't be great.  It only lacks bit of originality and that is all.  Pretty much all the flaws I noticed in the original were fixed in this one and all the good things were improved.  Cate looks and sounds different but she has changed in many other ways aswell.  The insecure pissed of young woman has grown up but maintains her sense of humour.  Rarely in games I have seen character development but Cate is exception in the rule.

What would be sequels without better graphics? A good sequel in most cases.  However, the game engine is lot smoother which allows you to play with the same PC as in the original but with lot better graphics than in the original.  Levels are just very well done.  The water looks excellent and so does everything else.  Level design sorves the story well and sometimes it really surprised me.  I mean, how many times do you have chance to have a sword fight in a house inside a tornado?

Now to the new stuff.  Cate can actually improve her skills by gathering skill points.  Sounds cliche but it is overall a nice add to the so far excellent game play.  Otherwise, all the other improvements are in the backround, like new gadgets and weapons.  I must say that Shuriken and Catana offered great experiences.  Cat can even equip herself with a banana!

The story is not as good as in the original but still a decent plot for action game.  The game can still be played by using stealth tactics or declare a war against your enemies.  It is not always possible, though.  The enemy A.I is so good that every fight is a challenge.  The game is quite long offering different situations from time to time.  And of course, the game is just SO funny!

Because the game is so great I see no reason to analyze it any longer.  This is very well made game with good humour and lot of originality.  What are you waiting for - just buy it!
