Action RPGs have been few and far between for the Xbox so when Sudeki was announced people were interested because it combined the best of XBox RPGs which were mostly adapted from PC RPGs and also the Japanese RPGs from PS2. After giving this game a spin, I must say the game does have its high points but certainly does not raise the bar for console RPGs. The game features some of the most colorful graphics seen on the Xbox. The characters are typical Jap anime which may or may not be a good thing as per your taste. The game starts with a typical story of good and evil battling against each other and your place in the whole scheme. The game allows you to control 4 main characters and each of them have their own personality and unique powers. Action at first is limited to button mashing sword fights but if the trailer on the CD is to be believed magic and powerups should make the whole thing pretty interesting. This is one of those games which is a good game and will not make any new RPG fans out of gamers.
