Black and white is a unique take on RTS games, in fact it is hard to classify it as a real time strategy game. While most rts games allow you to build stuff, create stuff, etc, the invisible hand in those games has been made your hand, the hand of god, with which you can create or destroy, the theme of the game. The game starts you out as a "virgin" God who has 2 advisors, good and bad and you are given a village whre people worship you. Your objective is to increase your influence by converting more and more people. Conversions happen if you help them or strike fear in them. After a few minutes into the game you get a creature which is like your pet and one which you can train to do your bidding. The game is very well constructed. The mechanics are very solid and sets out what you need to do in clear terms, the graphics are very good and zoom levels keep things in perspective. It is very easy to lose track of your objectives if you are starting new and quite a frustrating experience that can be. Sometimes the camera really doesnt help like when you need to find some sheep or a type of stone, its like searching for needle in a haystack. The game is very addictive though and once you get the handg of it, its likely you will play to the finish.
