After NFSU, quite a few titles have been announced based on the underground racing scene. Street racing is all about the feel of speed and NFSU quite correctly made it as arcade as possible so most if not all racing fans could enjoy the game. However NFSU had its drawbacks, no real tweaking of cars, no variety in terms of races or tracks or settings. So lets talk about SRS. The game seems so similarto NFSU you would think they took NFSU as the model for developing the game. SRS puts you on the same kind of night lit streets with bright neon arrows to mark direction, same cosmetic customisations and just a wee bit more real parts. Driving is truly arcade, with no need for brakes, in fact you can take the sharpest bends without braking and even crashing against the sides doesnt lose you speed. Unfortunately we are talking about a game that will take on NFSU which doesnt happen and I am sure most people would avoid this for the more respectable Burnout 3 and the upcoming nfsu2.
