This expansion adds some really nice touches to the game. First, it creates a really big neighborhood, and there are new concepts like the vegetable market and the pet shop. Pets are a nice addition; great for bachelors because interacting with your pet increases your social rating. They are a bit of bother too though, because you have to remember to feed them very regularly, they do tend to make a mess in the house and stray pets from the neighborhood will come into your house and eat your pet's food.
Vegetable gardens are really great. You can buy seeds at the market and plant your own veggies, then harvest them and place them in the pantry, and then you don't have to pay for your meals any longer.
