I played this game before actually seeing the movie, if you'll believe that. I personally feel it's more fun that way, because you have to figure everything out instead of just doing it the way it was in the movie.
It follows the movie story almost exactly, but it's fun and still has some challenge to it - you have to get a book called "how to fly a biplane" from the library otherwise you can't fly the plane later to escape, etc. If you're an Indiana Jones fan, I think it's worthwhile trying this. Not much replay value though, because once you've done it, there's nothing left.
