I never liked fighting games much until now. Soul Calibur 2 is the pinicle of the genre, with its exellent control system, 23 characters including Link and an endless amount of option and play modes.
There is arcade, survival, time trail and more in normal play mode but you can do all these in extra mode and use the weapons you got from weapon master.
Weapon master lets you go through the world trying to get the soul egde, the most desired sword in the kindom. after the fights you get experience points for your character to grow levels with and money which you can use to by weapons, costumes and other things for your characters.
Graphics: 9/10
The graphics are great but its not pushing the gamecubes hardware to the maximum
Sound: 8.5/10
The characters talk smoothly with exellent voices and the sound of someone getting hit sounds real but could have been better
Gameplay: 9.5/10
It wiil take ages to unlock everything and you will play it again once you complete it. the contols are exellent and it is really fun.
Overall: 9.3/10
An exellent game that will keep you occupied for hours on end.
