This game is heaven to a wrestling gamer.  Forget about WWF Raw, Legends of Wrestling and the Wrestlemania games.  Just remember this - the only good wrestling game is this game!

Gameplay - The gameplay is a huge impact from last year's because it just has so many new creative ideas to it.  It has the Submission system where you try to out-button-mash your competitors and a new body effect thing.  If Brock Lesnar F-5s you your neck will become a weak spot.  If you get chokeslammed by the Undertaker your back will be much more vulnerable to pain.  It's much more interactive than last year's system of hit them until they KO.

Graphics/Sound - I noticed a lot more detail in Here Comes The Pain than in any other SmackDown game.  The bodies look more detailed.  The faces seem to match the real wrestler perfectly.  Technically it's a step up from Shut Your Mouth.  But I'm not saying they couldn't do better.  The graphics aren't quite as good as they could've but still much better than all the other Wrestling games.  As for sound I was also a little disapointed because they don't have theme music for the legends and they just keep repeating the SmackDown theme song over and over in the game.  Luckily they have most wrestlers' theme songs right and that's definitely a plus.  They also finally took away the annoying announcers.  The only thing they need now is voice overs during the storylines and while you're backstage.

Replay Value - Sports games are always for the replay value and SmackDown Here Comes The Pain is no exception.  With new match types like First Blood, Elimination Chamber and Bra and Panties Match this game will make you want to play over and over and over again.  If you love wrestling you WILL not deny SmackDown! Here Comes The Pain as the greatest wrestling video game ever if you smell what The Rock is cooking!
