Max Payne 2 puts the player right back into the gunfights with this hot new sequel. We find Max once again faced with an all out battle to bring peace of mind to himself. Picking up some years down the road we find Max a little older and surprisingly non the wiser as he bears the burden of a one man army.
The game itself keeps the sore game engine with the same overall gameplay from the original title but the title has undergone a significant graphical overhaul.....nice new player models are used as the story unfolds in the classic Payne persona as he carries the story along in his mono-tone voice over.
This time through Max has the ocassional help of Mona Sax.....who surprisingly makes it into the sequel after being shot in the first Max Payne. He specialty is sniping and this comes in handy for Max as you take over now and than as Mona giving Max cover fire with the sniper rifle. All in all a pleasant offering with its high action gameplay, core elemental Bullet Time aid, and really sweet dream sequences I can say Max Payne 2 is a solid title to own.
