Well for starters, EA sports has definitely not disssapointed me in the least with their NFS games especially with the earlier one for PS2 (Hot Pursuit 3), but unfortunately I was a bit dissapointed with NFS: Underground. I've heard many complaints about slow down of frame rates and what not, but honestly I have noticed some slow downs but it hasn't affected me that much to a point where it does make the game bad.
The problem with this game is, I raced maybe 21 races and I've already literally memorized the track where I've have no problem tearing the computer to pieces, if I'm lucky enough not to run into the traffic out of no where during blind jumps. This whole game revolves around the same track and it honestly does get boring after a while. I mean in the Hot Pursuit 3 there was definitely a variety of tracks to run around and variety is definitely what makes a game last. That's honestly what kills the game for me...
The visuals are absolutely amazing, and there is nothing better than smackin on a turbo mod and hearing the blow off valve opening and closing....kinda makes you wanna spend the 5 grand and get ur own turbo charger :-)...the controls and feel are no different from Hot Pursuit 3 which I love, so at least that's kept normal...oh yeah and one more thing...PROPS TO THE NEW DRAG RACING GAME MODE :-)
