I really liked this game. If you were part of the Pokemon craze, like me and many other people, this game will bring back a lot of memories. If you've never played any of the games you'll find a fresh game here. You travel through a world of monsters that you catch with "Pokeballs" and train your monsters to fight other trainers to advance through the game. The controls are perfect for it, just like all the others. It has high quality music and sound for a GBA game. It IS a remake of the original two Red and Blue versions. Well it pretty much is, it has the original storyline and pokemon and everything, but it has many added extras and features. Definately a must have for a Pokemon fan. I wouldn't say I'm a pokemon fan, I've just enjoyed the games. Of course if you've never liked them then you'll definately not like Leaf Green or Fire Red. I'd say it's a perfect game in it's own right, it's genre, and the fact that it's on a portable, but since it's a remake I'm giving it a 9.
