If you are looking for a streetracing game with an exhilirating sense of speed, hot and fast cars, great graphics, and a good replayability, do not look any further.  Sure NFSU has lots of options on changing the look of your car but it't not even a streetracer!  Unlike NFSU, MC2 isn't linear at all.  To win a race u just have to drive through a series of checkpoints and you can take any way you want to get to them.  Some of them are in sequence and others are scattered all over the city.

The game structure is simple.  First you start in Los Angeles with a crappy car (the cars aren't licensed) and drive around the city until you find a racer.  Then you flash your beams at him or her by pressign L3 and show off your driving skill by chasing them and showing that you're a worthy racer.  Then they will race you.  First time is with other racers and usuallt the second time is to.  But sometimes they will want to go one-on-one.  And sometimes you can win more then one car by doing more than 2 races.  After you beat them enough times so they realize your're better, the'll give you their car.  After you beat all the racers, then you face against the city champion.  Once you beat him then you move to the next city which is paris.  Then Tokyo.  Also you unlocked cool driving abilities like nitro, slip-stream turbo, driving on two wheels etc.

The sound is okay.  I personally don't like the music but others do.  It's a mix of techno and rap (I hate rap) The voice-overs are hilarious though.  Especially the first guy in L.A.  Fat as* mutha fu**a literally uses mostly 1 word and that is 'yo'.

The graphics are great.  The cracks and pebbles in the pavement are very clear.  When you use slip-stream turbo, the screen blurs NFSU style.  Only difference is that when you use it, you go 3 times as fast as in NFSU.  Also, the nitro, even though the screen doesn't blur, you go extremely fast.

Another awesome thing in the game is the motorcycle.  It is awesome.  It is difficult to master the techs of driving through traffic in such speed that you will get dizzy.  It also is tough to master all there is to weight transfer to make sharp turns, wheelies, stoppies, and duck down to speed up.  Lucky that you get a bike already in the firslt city.

Overall this game is so fun, you won't care if you have to restart because u missed a turn.  Believem me, you will restart many many times before you win in the harder races.
