Goldeneye was amazing, yet this game easily surpasses it. The graphics are very realistic (for the time) and the music gets you into the action. While Goldeneye lacked a good storyline, Perfect Dark has an intricate plot involving an alien conspiracy. The game is very tough and it is a great accomplishment to beat it on Perfect Agent. The multiplayer is outstanding with the addition of simulants and the weapons are truly in a league of their own. The secondary functions are great bonuses. This is easily one of the best console shooters ever. I would rate it a 9.8 out of 10.
