KOTOR is the best Star Wars game in existence and one of the greatest games I have ever played. It takes RPGs to a new level with so much freedom and choice. For example, the player can usually choose from around three different responses in a dialogue which will all significantly alter the conversation. Some responses and actions will make players turn to the light side while others will lead to the dark side. Since there are so many different ways to complete a given task, the replay value is outstanding. Players will see themselves beating the game at least twice (once light side, and once dark side) to achieve the entire experience.
I enjoyed the battle system because it required some skill and differed from the ordinary turn-based RPG. It takes place in real time and players may move around. This almost makes it similiar to an action game instead of an RPG. The worlds are huge and provide much exploration. The game takes roughly 30 a good portion of the many sidequests. The music is nice and the graphics are not super but are good enough for me. The controls are adequate and the story is great, being very detailed and having a few big twists. Overall, KOTOR is a game that everyone should love and I would give it a 9.7 out of 10.
