Prince of Persia is one of the best action games I have ever played. There are two different parts to this game, the puzzles and the fighting. The puzzles are clever and require the prince to use all of his acrobatic moves in order to hit switches to get from room to room. You must navigate yourself through an immense palace which is kind of similiar to one huge Zelda temple. The great thing about this game is that you're not afraid to try something crazy, like jump off a cliff, because you can just rewind time and be safe again. The battles are also great and amazingly fun. Although some seem to drag on, the prince has many cool moves and there are different types of enemies with specific weaknesses.
The play control is comfortable, but the camera angles can be quite awful at times. The graphics are stunning and are very realistic. The game takes roughly 10 to 15 hours to beat. This seems short, but if it were any longer, it could get repetitive. The gameplay is fairly linear and there is not too much exploring to do. You can't travel back to points in the palace, so if you miss a Water of Life Fountain, it's too bad. I had an amazing time playing Prince of Persia and would recommend it to anyone. I would rate it a 9.1 out of 10.
