Mario and Luigi is an excellent game boy game and is definitely no disappointment. It keeps the action alive, unlike some RPGs, by being able to counter attacks in battle. There are many adventure elements to the game such as jumping up platfroms and hitting enemies with a hammer to get an advantage before the battle even starts. This game is extremely funny and is almost based on its jokes. The graphics are splendid and the play control is fair, although switching the characters back and forth and changing their commands can be annoying. It takes about twenty hours to beat, which is a medium length, and the Beanbean Kingdom has plenty of things to do and explore. It will keep you playing for hours on end because it is so fun. You can choose special Bros. attacks which are the most powerful in battle, but use up Bros. Points and must be mastered. There are a few frustrating points, but this is still one of the best handheld games of the year. Overall, I would rate it a 9.3 out of 10.
