I expected more for this Super Mario Sunshine. Canīt say that it isnt a good game, but its somehow disapointing in my opinion.
The story-line its all crap ( Yes, its all the same thing since the supreme Super Mario 64 ), its nothing special...
The graphics are somehow very decent but the lack of quality in some scenarios textures makes me completely sick...
The sound is based on basic Super Mario tunes, and could be nice in some way ... for some persons...
The "yupi"'s , the "Mama-mia"'s and the "Ouch!"'s of Mario are really irritaiting.
The Gameplay is the game's strong point mainly beacuse its keeps the spirit that is in the base of every good plataform game for any system.
Jump over big platforms, crush enemys, and use your Water-Pumping machine to ... wash ... some flours and... stuff...
In pair with Lugi's Mansion, this one of the most "kiddi-games" on the Gamecube, wich is not particulary bad, because it adds lots of fun and good humour to some games. This is case of SMS.
It may not be the best Gamecube game to date, but Mario brings to VG World some nice improvements when compared with other plataformers.
Hard to hate, not easy to love.
