I have only played a few flight sims in my limited gaming experience, but this one is not as bad as some people make it out to be. The major things wrong with it is the lack of storyline. You get a pre-mission briefing saying what to do, and that is it. Otherwise the game is set up like a shoot-em up arcade game. The people at Titus could have made a much better use of the Top Gun license that they probably paid a lot to acquire. Throughout the whole game the missions somehow manage to stay varied and new, keeping the player in the game, but giving him no reason to play again after the game is beaten. The gameplay is pretty good, the controls work pretty much like any other flight-sim I have ever played and they are very responsive. The sound was not very impressive, all you could hear was the hiss of the missiles and that was it. Although the game isn't that great, it is kind of fun to play once but that is about all you will want to play it. My advice is to rent it before buying it, just to test it.
