Graphics: 9 So well done that you actually feel like you are a part of the movie, although it seems a bit dark at times and it can be a hindrance to game play. Everything moves so smooth, even when there are seemingly hundreds of characters on the screen at the same time. Simply breath taking. ROTK only loses points because of the darkness and the movie seems jumpy at times.
Gameplay: 10 Highly addictive hack and slash gameplay. The combos are complex enough to make it where you can't just mash buttons to win. Great point system for kills with combos and special kills. Lots of unlockable stuff. The inclusion of two players is just overkill on the fun factor.
Replay: 10 The game may seem short, but there are three difficulties and many goodies to unlock including nine total playable characters and many side missions. Two players make this a great game to kick on with your friends. Kudos.
Sound: 10 Great use of the LOTR soundtrack to make everything more breathtaking. The voice acting is superb and sound effects are seemingly perfect.
Overall: 10 The one game to rule them all. Anyone must own this game, even if you're not a fan of the movies/books. Amazingly well done gameplay and lots to do to keep you playing for a while to come. An instant classic.
