I was very dissapointed with this game. Probably because I thought it would be a second coming of GTA. While the GTA series(after 2) had lots of freedom with tons of things to do between missions, True Crime only has repetitive "cop missions" to vice city players and a hidden package variant that unlocks quite a nice surprise. However, on the bright side, the badge aspect where you gain new abilites is pretty cool. The West Coast rap is annoying to me, and the cars are lack in variety. The whole map is boring too, unless you live in LA. Definitely RENT first.
