I think a lot of people where really put off of Wakeboarding Unleashed because it seemed too much like Dave Mirra and THPS, but to be honest there is a fresh feeling to this game that plays on the great aspects of those other games but still brings the gamer something new and enjoyable. While a lot of people would like to compare this game to the THPS series, I think that there are some distinct differences in the freshness of style and the sometimes even better gameplay. If you like THPS or Dave Mirra games you will like this game. The first thing you will notice is the graphics. The water looks amazing and the backgrounds and level design is topnotch. Shaba games have really done an amazing job. Also I have to mention that there are some really neat ideas put into this game, for one you can have a buddy help you get more points by driving the boat and setting you up for some huge air. Another great idea in the game is that there is no timer or clock but a groove meter, the better you do the longer you will be able to stay on the water. You can't go wrong with this game so if you are looking for a change from THPS or Dave Mirra, or just looking for a really fun game, then this is the game you should get. This game really deserves a 9 out of 10.
