Jak and Daxter has one good thing on its side.  Its humor.  The gameplay is sub-par and the different tasks are easy enough for my four year old cousin to complete.  Rounding cattle for a power-cell. 
 
I like the kind of RPG aspect that Jak and Daxter bring to the table its just the game is too basic.  Even SNES games like Super Mario World were more in-depth then J&D.  In J&D you don't have to dig for hourd to find that elusive Precursor Orb.
