This game is all out fast and furious gameplay.  With the multiple play modes this product contains, it will leave you playing for hours a day.

First of all, there are 4 different race modes.
1) Circuit- Your normal typical race mode in which the 4 cars race around the track for a number of laps.  You only win if you come in first.  There are Lap Knockout Circuits also in which there are 3 laps and if you are in last place when a lap is completed, You are knocked out.

2) Drag- To me the most fun of the modes.  This lasts about 30 seconds but are very intense.  You feel as if you are really going over 100 mph as figures get blurry as you increase velocity.  At times your going so fast that evading traffic is a very difficult task.  Luckily, EA games has altered the controls so now you only have to tap the analog stick right or left to change lanes.  Also changing gears is easy as using the shoulder buttons is a breeze.  But the timing takes practice.

3) Sprint- One lap in which the 4 cars race to a finish line.  Straightforward and fast.  You need to give it all you got to finish first.  You only get one shot at making a shortcut, so before you actualy win a race you may "test" it first for the fastest possible route.  This race is longer than drag but just as intense.

4) Drift- Speed is almost irrelevent in this condition, its all about you "edge".  Slip and slide your way 4 laps around an oil covered track to create the most amazing drifts.  The more points you get, the higher a bonus you get.  Just don't hit a wall or else you'll lose all current drift points and some style points will be taken off.  This mode can be particularly difficult to beat if you don't know how to use the emergency brake to its full potential.  I advise the tutorial menus.

The graphics on this game are amazing.  First of all the cars glisten with paint and neons and end up looking gorgeous.  You can choose varieties of paint and rims and even color your brake capilers.  The customization opitions are definatley fulfilling.  The sound is also very nice as the menu music ranges from all sorts of pumped up music.

The game object is that you start in a slow plain car and as you win more races you gain more reputations and better cars and custom options.  The replayibilty is high and because of the great online play, this is probably the best NFS game ever.  Could even be the best RACING game ever.
