First, let me say what everyone else is thinking: Yes, this game is beautiful. Full lightning effects included.
Now, the basic game is you start off as a young child whose town is ransacked and father killed. So basically, already, you can choose the path of avenging hero or angry villian. However, choosing isn't the best word to use. Whatever you do, whether you think it or not, will effect you. I mean EVERYTHING! Even going into alot of battles will get you battle scars.
You progress through the game mostly as an adult, and during the game, you will age, even to the point where you can die of old age! Now, you can die in the heat of battle, or you can peacefully go in your sleep with your loving wife in your own home (of which you can have many and even rent to others).
This game has too much to go into, but basically, it's a bit too short. If you stay with the main quest all the way through, you'll find yourself breezing through it in a matter of 8-10 hours. However, many side quests await you as long as you are well known enough to be asked to help. :)
By far the best RPG on the Xbox, but one of the shortest games on it as well. However, you'll find yourself playing through it again as the other side of the good and evil sesaw. :)
