There's really nothing much in this game that made it so fun. The graphics are all cel-shape and there's a total of 6 levels. Now the goal of the game is to pass each level into sucessfully doing what the main character wanted to do. If you failed, than you'll just have to do the level over in attempt to win.
The story is quite amusing. Its about a guy that wants to win a girl's heart and there was always for PaRappa to do. Like learning karate or to learning how to bake cakes. And in each level he would freestyle as he is doing what he needs to do, thus the name "PaRappa the Rapper". ?BR>
The bad part is that each of the level is very competitive to the previous level. In each level, your goal is to match the buttons up. In another to time when you press the button because you are suppose to press the button according to the line that shows above and its basically corresponding to the beat. But it is highly repetitive and I found nothing fun in it. Also, there were only six levels. So I've rated it a 6/10.
