Gameplay is missing in Final Fantasy X, the game in which you barely touch your gamepad while you watch a boring and really bad story.  If you like watching games rather then playing them, this game is for you!

There's not much else to say, this game is little more then an interactive movie.  The "game" parts consist of nothing more then following a path towards the red arrow that tells you where to go without fail.  FFX has very little gameplay, its like "A movie with random battles and pointless navigation in between" That totally sums up FFX.  The weapons, magic, summons and everything in this game are totally off.  It's like FF game mechanics were butchered by the designers.

Everything has been dumbed down and simplified for non-rpg players and gaming newbies.  More and more games are taking the player out of the game and having him not do anything.  FFX is the pinnacle of a game that lacks FUN tasks to do, its a somewhat enjoyable experience but if we wanted to WATCH a movie we'd go rent a movie, FFX is a really really bad movie.  Even though it tries to be interesting, you'll be left not caring about blitzball or most of the 1 dimensional characters in the game.  This game has no narrative depth, its caters to male teenage fantasies of hot chicks and immature characters.

FFX is not an RPG, its more of an interactive movie and too much time is spent WATCHING dialogue between characters rather then playing the game.
