Now, after I donīt know how many hours, my Zelda marathon is finally over when I finished Zelda-The Wind Waker.
The story is set in a different country this time, not Hyrule, and this place is really an ocean with a lot of islands. You donīt play as Link, but as an other young boy who grows into a hero.
The graphics is a bit more bright, reminds more of japanese animé and there are many whirls drawn all over the place. Some have called the graphics childish but I wouldnīt go that far, but itīs different. I hear that next game will be darker, which I personally prefer, but this game is a bit like Jak and Ratchet with humouristic enemies and cute individuals.
The music is more celtic-sounding, and this also adds to the feeling of another world than Hyrule, but of course the classic themes are there as well.
The controls are smooth, something Nintendo gamehandling almost always is.
I have one complaint though. The sailing is slowing the game down. I read somewhere that it was "only" 14 % of the game but it feels like you sail alot and itīs boring in my opinion.
I like this game, itīs a good sequel which takes the Zelda story in a new direction. Kind of like what Zelda II: Adventure of Link, did before Miyamoto took it back to classic ground with A Link To The Past. Hopefully he will do something similar with Twilight Princess.
