Director David Cage tries to evolve the adventure-genre and comes up with an interesting but not perfect game.

The story is quite excellent. You play mainly three different characters. Lukas Kane - who wakes up at a toilet with blood on his hands.
Carla Valenti - a female cop who is on the case.
Tyler Miles - her black colleague.
The story is one of the strong aspects of this game and feels like in a movie. A concept Cage is looking for by no doubt! He even calls the game-starting-icon "New Movie".
The movies I think of is Matrix, the Schwarzenegger-movie End of Days and at one point, the Silence of the Lambs!

The graphics are not that hot and with not too great textures. The music is good and the voice-acting is great, sometimes the attraction of the game!

The controls are good in the normal gameplay and I like the way the right analog stick chooses different actions and dialogue. But in the fighting sequences the solution with following the jumping colours with the two analog-sticks are at best interesting, but never good. It reminds me of a toy my mother bought, that also had four colours that you needed to follow...

The good things about this game is the story and the possibilities to act differently in any given situation, something that gives it a replay-value. The bad things is the choice of controls in the fighting sequences and the mediocre graphics.

Spoiler warning:
Another thing that you donīt often see in a game but do in this, is sex. In this game you even get to control it. To make it even more confusing, isnīt the last love-act, necrophilia?
