I liked Max Payne, the first game. A great story, awesome bullet-time and a lovely dark feel to it.
The problem with this sequel is that itīs more of the same but a litte worse. The story is less interesting with a love-twist, the graphics are the same and the long loading times are still there. You would think that some improvements would occur over the years, but in this game itīs not noticeable.
I liked the funhouse mission, itīs was a different and great idea. The other missions were more basic and alike them in the first game. Thereīs still some graphics issues, even if I believe the glitches are fewer.
The sound is very good, all down to voices, gunshots and music.
Controls are a bit tough to master, at least in the begining.
This game is a little disappointing for me. I would liked a better updated game, both in graphics and in loading times. Feels like they havenīt looked at the bad PC-converting at all.
As it is now, itīs like the first game, for better and worse.
