Metroid Prime is a exciting title that takes a while to get interesting. The first part on the space vessel is repetitive and it seems like you are doing the same thing over and over. It finally gets interesting when you begin your first boss battle.
Metroid Prime has some of the best graphics I've seen for the Gamecube. Samaus almost looks real. All the environments are beautifully colored and drawn. Ememies even look like they could attack you in real life.
The gameplay in the game is solid. The targeting system works great. It always seems to lock on to the ememy that is closest to you, the one you want to shoot.
Overall Metroid Prime is a great game that I would recommend to others. It is the one of the first first-person shooters I've played and it makes me want to play others. If you don't have this Gamecube classic go and buy it today.
