Can someone explain to me why there are so many good reviews of this game? I love RPG games in general, and spend many many hours with NWN series. I missed out on the first KOTOR game, though i heard all the rave reviews. So when KOTOR2 came out, i thought i'd give it a shot.

Let me start by saying i'm an RPG fan, but not a Star Wars addict. I enjoyed the movies, but that's about it. I don't make my own light saber and pretend to be a jedi. ;) But all review out there seem like they're written by Star Wars fanatics. What gives? Of course they will say its a great game.

Now from my point of view, the graphics are repetitive and confusing. All the people look the same. All scenery is the same. All the doors and boxes and bins are all the same. And maybe NWN spoiled me, but why can't i right-click to make my character to somewhere? why can't I zoom in/out and rotate the camera to see the action from any angle? There is just the same 3rd-person chase camera following your character the whole way. I have a MOUSE. I know how to USE IT. SO FOR PETE'S SAKE, LET ME USE MY MOUSE! This game has 'Console Port' stentch all over it. And starting at the back of the character is made 10 times worse since the character I picked (the pretty slim blonde) has a posterior the size of Texas.

About the story line, I think FPS shooters like Half Life 2 has a richer story line, without all the painful reading one has to do in KOTOR2. I made it off the mine asteroid (first few hours are a total snooze), and now I'm on the planet where the aliens are trying to restore vegetation to the planet, while the corporation wants to develop the planet for industry. zzzzzzzz. i'm sorry, do i HAVE to choose one mission or the other? I'd rather go back to sleep.
