I recently bought FF:CC and have to say overall I rather enjoy it.  Never having been a huge fan of the Final Fantasy series, this one is enough of a change to make me want to play it.

First is of course the bucket.  This thing is frustrating as hell at first because obviously in multiplayer the person holding the bucket is going to go a particular direction, and the person not holding the bucket is just going to go running to a slow death off screen, (has happened more than once).  That of course is just a matter of getting used to working in a bubble.

My second point on the game is the races.  If you plan on being a magic-using powerhouse..  don't.  To even use the better spells Fira, firaga, ect ect..  you need to rely on your teammate to cast the same spell, at the same time.  Kind of makes one useless as a spell caster.  Though single player allows you to combine the crystals as you find them for the more powerful spells.  (Just remember you lose them when you leave the level).

My third point would be the GBA connectivity.  A nice touch with the menus and the like, but (you had to know there was a but) the GBA and connectivity never were 100%, there is enough of a delay with certian things to be slightly annoying.  There is a small delay in the time from button press to action on-screen.  So when you power up for an attack, you have to wait a second or two to press the button again for another power attack.  Not much of a big deal if just holding down the button would count as that "waiting a second or two", but no, you'll just end up running around doing nothing.  You have to wait, then press the button..  or get in the habit of double-tapping.  But that's a hardware deficency, not really a problem with the game it's self.

Other than those gripes, it's a great game.  I am rather fond of the music, you can really see what they've done with the graphics along the lines of the water and detail on the rocks (some pixelation when the game has characters off screen and their shadows fall on screen, but hey, can't have everything)
