sweet: Overall this is actually a very good turn based strategy game. the gfx are great, the gameplay is tight. Its a hard game, but hard in a good way. You can play as either the good guys or bad guys and customize your troops in various different ways. Each one even has his own personality. I really enjoyed this game and would have given it an 8 or a 9
but theres a huge problem
craptacular: there are several little bugs in this game, and at least one major game destroying ones. Your troops do not lvl up right. theres some bug in the values or something that lets the troops you leave at the base become way more powerful than either your main character or the troops you bring with you. this is game destroying for those who like to customize their characters. or pretty much anyone in general. This wouldn't be that much of a problem if the devs would just patch it but theyve pretty much stated on their message boards that they have no intention of doing so and are only working on the sequel now. I have put this game aside for about 2 months now and their stance has still not changed
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. every PC game except maybe budget titles, which this certainly isn't, has at least some developer support in the form of patches after release. that is not the case here. This is a good game that is ruined by lazy developers and im afraid this crippling bug gives the game a score of 1. I hope this review gets posted so people dont waste their money on a broken game
