Fifa 2002, when it came out as new, was in my opinion extremely good. This game was an excellent improvement in the fifa series. it's predecessor, FIFA 2001 was absolutely nothing compared to the 2002 version.
Even after the 2003 and 2004 now making the latest of the series, 2002 doesn't look too bad. 2003 which did come out with more realistic players and kicks and gameplay and the 2004 which has improved the game terribly well have had 2002 as the base.
The FIFA series is trying to make the game more realistic and 2002 was in my opinion the greatest improvement in one version.
It has the standard, though lacking some of the features from the 2003 and 2004 versions it makes a decent game
