As one of the first games released on N64 I thought that this game was well done. You can even say that it is better made then many other N64 games. The gameplay isn't that bad for one the first fighting games on N64. However, there is something about this game's gameplay that makes not as fun as some previous fighting games that I have played. It is basically to simple and lacks having something new to the fighting game gender. The storyline is average for a fighting game. It is nothing too special; maybe if the gameplay would hook you in more then the storyline would be a bit better, but now its just a plain good average storyline. The replay value for this game is not too bad, but when I got some other fighting games for N64, I quickly forgot about this game. The graphics good for one the first N64 games that came out but a few touch ups would of hurt. The sound effects are average because they get tiring after a while. Perhaps if there were a few more sound effects then it would be a lot better. I would personally recommend Mortal Kombat Trilogy or MK: 4 but if you looking for something other then Mortal Kombat then this is a great game to buy .I recommend this game to gamers who absolutely like fighting games; everyone one else should try either MK: Trilogy or MK4 or even both of them.
