I didn't like this racing game on the PC too much, since at the time I was playing NFS II (PC). However, POD is very different from other racing games… The thing that is different is that the storyline is actually very well thought of. I think it is great how UbiSoft was able to incorporate a good storyline into this game. However sadly, not everything about this game is as good as the storyline. The gameplay is compared to NFS II (PC) is not as good. The gameplay in this game is repetitive and not as enjoyable as of the gameplay in NFS II (PC). Also there is a lack of environments and every vehicle seems to look the same… The replay value is not as good as the replay value that EA's NFS II (PC) offers. The graphics is the worst thing about this game. The graphics are not even decent and most of this game is blurry. The sound effects all in all where great. As you can see this racing game isn't that good of a racing game but one thing that it does have is a storyline. I just hope that future-racing games will have a good storyline like in this game but with better gameplay, replay value, and graphics. I do not recommend this racing game to you and instead recommend that you look at other racing games, preferably the NFS series. Only check out this game if you are a hardcore racing gamer and are looking for a racing game with a great storyline.
