Dark Force, made in early 1995, is a good game. I remember getting this game when just upgrading my PC to Windows 95 from Windows 3.1. However this game is a DOS game. But if you want to check it out these days it does work on Windows XP. It is a great game however if you are comparing this game to Doom or Duke Nukem, then it may not be that great. The sound effects are great! However, if you have higher then Windows 98 then you might have a big problem with setting them up. But for its time this game was very well made, sound effects wise. The graphics, well what can I say, they are DOS graphics there is nothing to special about them. The replay value, back in the day and today is low. I played this game one time through and I was done with it. The storyline is very good for a DOS game, especially since many DOS games didn't have a big storyline. The gameplay is all right not as good as Duke Nukem's or Doom's game play but it's not that bad. This is a pretty good game DOS game, the only reason you should get it now a days is if you are looking to find out what happened in the series for Jedi Knight II games or if you looking for an older game to run threw really quickly.
